Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We recognise our moral and statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children. We aim to:

  • provide a safe, trusting and welcoming environment
  • ensure children feel respected, listened to and valued
  • identify concerns early and act quickly
  • work closely with families and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes

All staff, volunteers, governors and Flying High Trust colleagues must read, understand and follow our safeguarding policies. Our approach is fully aligned with the Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP) and statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSiE).

The full policy can be viewed in our Safeguarding section on our policies page.
